Our daily attendance, after school events, and fluctuations with daily pickups greatly affect the ridership of the afternoon bus routes. This could, in turn, affect the duration of the route and your child's drop-off time. For this reason we kindly ask that you make every effort to be waiting at your child's bus stop 10-minutes prior to the scheduled drop off time to allow for these fluctuations.
If there is ever an occasion where you have missed picking up your PK-3rd grade* child at the afternoon bus stop please be rest assured that your child will safely stay on the bus until the entire route has finished and they will be dropped off, to an adult, at the George Ross Mackenzie Elementary School. The Mackenzie office closes at 4:00 p.m. so we ask that you please be prompt when coming to retrieve your child.
*Please note: students in grades 4-6 will be dropped off without an adult present unless you have communicated directly with the transportation department that you are requiring an adult present for drop off.
